Activity Groups

Any activity group can register and sign up to donate their clothing and shoes to our Recycle with Michael scheme.

Groups may include Scouts, Cubs, Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Community groups and many more!

What is recycle with michael?

Michael is The Salvation Army's top recycler and travels across the UK collecting clothing and shoes that you no longer want or need to stop it all from going into landfill.

Our partnership:

Your activity group can sign up to our scheme, order the bags and arrange a collection day.
The funds raised from the donations are split 50/50 to your group and The Salvation Army using the current textile market price.
**The income can be paid directly into an account, please make sure the BACS form is complete and sent across to RecyclewMichael@satcol.org
Your activity group will receive a certificate showing the volume of textiles collected and the total funds raised.
We are happy for groups to take photos of the process/campaign and encourage to share on social media! Make sure you tag us!

Once you have registered:

You will receive Recycle with Michael bags from our team – we recommend one bag per person.
After organising a collection date with us, our van and collector will attend on the day – times will be unspecified due to unforeseen circumstances. Please let our team know of any key details our van driver will need to be aware of.
Once collected, you will receive a certificate via email – Saving the planet!
