The Recycle with Michael scheme is owned and managed by Salvation Army Trading Company and during these uncertain times, we would like to update our schools, Scouts and activity groups on the changes we have recently made.
We take the health of our staff, customers and partners very seriously and have been monitoring the global effects of the coronavirus and advice from the NHS and Government bodies.
A lot of our staff are adjusting to new routines working from home but you can still contact our Recycle with Michael team and our helpline on:
Email: Recyclewmichael@satcol.org

Social pages: Twitter and Facebook
Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 23rd March the Recycle with Michael scheme will be suspended for the foreseeable future.
Textiles are not deemed 'waste' and our collectors have not been granted key worker status, therefore in order to limit the risk to all of our colleagues and donors, SATCoL has no choice but to close down this operation for now. This means that no collections will be done until further notice and we will continue to monitor the Government advice and instructions and will back up and running as soon as practically possible.
Collections:
With our scheme closed, we will be contacting all schools, Scouts and activity groups that have collections booked in for April and May to postpone the dates for the foreseeable future. We will contact each individual when we are able to reschedule collection dates further on in the year.
We will wait for further Government advice and announcements to decide whether to keep collections in June and July while keeping everyone informed.
Please store these bags in a convenient place for the time being – we appreciate your support!
